Salam Sejahtera Doktor Roland,

Penyakit halitosis saya ini sudah dialami sejak bertahun-tahun (hampir berbelas-belas tahun), soalan saya adakah bakteria ini mampu hidup bertahun-tahun dan menjadikan mulut saya sebagai sarangnya sepanjang hayat ? Adakah faktor halitosis ini berpunca dari saluran usus atau penghadaman ? Masalah halitosis ini juga mengakibatkan badan saya berbau seperti najis !

Ans: 90% daripada halitosis berpunca dari mulut yang selebihnya dari penyakit lain...........

Untuk pengetahuan doktor, saya mengamalkan cara hidup sihat dalam penjagaan gigi dengan memberus gigi 2 kali sehari iaitu selepas bangun tidur pada waktu pagi dan sebelum tidur pada waktu malam serta mandi dengan kerap. Berus gigi juga saya selalu tukar setiap 3 bulan seperti saranan doktor gigi. Saya juga tidak merokok dan tidak suka makan makanan yang berbau seperti petai dan sebagainya. Saya juga pernah berjumpa doktor gigi dengan menyatakan saya penghidap halitosis, tapi doktor berkenaan bersikap tidak profesional dengan menyatakan penyakit halitosis hanya boleh diubat dengan kerap memberus gigi, kunyah chewing gum, jangan hisap rokok, gunakan flos gigi selalu.. masalah halitosis sebenarnya memerlukan rawatan atau ubat yang lebih spesifik. Saya berasa sungguh kecewa apabila hendak berjumpa doktor gigi, pada saya doktor gigi hanya mahu kerja mencabut gigi, menampal gigi berlubang dan buat pengskaleran sahaja.
Apa saranan dan nasihat doktor terhadap masalah saya ini ? Produk apa yang sesuai untuk mengatasai halitosis berpanjangan ini. Saya berminat untuk mengetahuinya dengan lebih lanjut dan mencuba produk ini dengan jayanya. Saya dari negeri Kelantan, untuk pergi ke Sabah mungkin lambat lagi untuk simpan duit naik kapal terbang. I have the problem of halitosis since young and it's getting severe these few years.
I'm currently staying in KL & would like to know if you have any branch in West Malaysia?

3) I also wonder to know are these products act as a cover or cure?
and for how long of time it must be used?must it be used always?

Ans: The product is not a cover BUT a cure. The problem with halitosis is that, everyday we ingest protein from our diet, and our mouth is also an environment for bacteria to grow. When bacteria and protein comes together, then the waste product will be volatile sulphur compounds - which will translate into bad breath like , rotten egg smell, faeces smell and other smell.

The product first and foremost trying to clean up the oral environment so that there are less bad bacteria to colonize the mouth that is the 32-day regime, and the probiotic K-12 is introduced so that is colonizes the mouth and it does not produce waste products like volatile sulphur compunds when it meets up with protein - that is the rinses of K12 during the 27day regime.

4) Dear Dr Roland,
Thank u for your reply. It might be hard for me to fly into KK anytime soon as very tied up with business.Before I can come n see u,let me just briefly explain to you what is my problem.I am actually having not a severe bad breath problem but at times I do feel not a good smell in the mouth.I have a wisdom teeth which is not fully grown and whenever I touch it,it smells not good.the teeth is covered under the gum. I also have problem with my noose whereby it's always stuffy and I normally get thick yellowish mucous discharge whenever I clean my nose.I am concern whether is this the main cause of the bad breath since i read in the internet that the mucous might be dropping back of my throat n causing the bad breath. My mouth also becomes dry if I miss my lunch few hours and very dry especially in the mornings. The taste that I get in my mouth sometimes like sour and also rusty feeling at times. I also use to get tonsil stones white discharge last time but haven't notice this for quite sometime. I know you have some products sold online and hope maybe as a start u cud recommend me any suitable product for me to purcahae and try out.

2.An addition of a sinoclear to clear the mucous from your nose and throat
